Suspenseful Shows Perfect for Halloween

If you’re not the Halloween party going type, you’re probably going to need something to do on Halloween night. Instead of partying hard, you could always settle into the couch of your Houston, TX apartment to watch something! In this week’s Driscoll Place Blog, we’ve gathered a short list of suspenseful shows that would be perfect for a night in.

Stranger Things 

What would you do if strange things started happening in your town? Stranger Things follows a group of people, as they investigate and try to solve the weird things going on in their town of Hawkins. If you haven’t watched this show before, you’ll want to start and get caught up with the rest of the world! If you have, spend the Halloween season rewatching it and enjoy some quality television!

Black Mirror

If you’ve watched The Twilight Zone and enjoyed it, you won’t want to miss Black Mirror. The show does not have a continuing story from episode to episode. Each episode is an entire story on its own that shows you the “what if” of various situations involving technology and society. This is a suspenseful show and can deal with adult topics, so viewer discretion is advised!

American Horror Story

If horror is what you’re looking for, don’t miss out on this show! With about seven seasons on Netflix, you’ll have plenty to keep you occupied during the reminder of October. Each season has a story-line and is a self-contained miniseries. Prepared to get scared!

Riverdale

If you’re a fan of the Archie comics, you’re probably familiar with the characters in Riverdale. This series dives into a darker, more suspenseful world of the Archie comics, with familiar names and characters. Teen drama and suspense, the perfect combination.
